MIchelle Ingram is Co-Director of the Freret Street Festival and owner of Zeus' Place, a pet boarding and grooming business. Michelle explains the origins of the Freret Street Festival and describes how the Festival has evolved. She names a few of the bands that will perform and gives a brief hint about some of the great food that festival goers will be able to enjoy. In contrast to many other themed festivals, the Freret Street Festival focuses on the diverse businesses that are located up and down Freret Street. This year's festival will feature 238 vendors. Last year, the popular Festival attracted approximately 17,500 visitors. Michelle shares her vision for the future of the Freret Street Festival and tells us that this year, the Festival will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 12pm to 6pm.
